One of our older guitars from the vintage end of the spectrum, this is a Guild D-55 dreadnought dating back to 1976. The guitar is played, but considering its 42-year age, is still in good condition. The main signs of wear to note on are on the top of the body in the form of plectrum wear on the pickguard and in the wood nearby which has started to wear away the lacquer and expose some of the natural wood beneath, and then on the back of the guitar in the form of play marks and surface scratches. There a few indentations on the headstock and very minor pitting in certain parts of the back of the neck, although these are very difficult to notice.
The guitar has had an aftermarket Barcus Berry acoustic pickup fitted which has a small jack input on the bottom of the body - An adapter is included with the guitar.
Includes generic hard shell case.
