Well here's a piece of Fender history!
This is an all-original 1968 example of a Fender Jaguar finished in Candy Apple Red, complete with matching headstock. The guitar, in its 50 year history, has seen numerous years of play, and is showing all the hallmarks as such. There are numerous marks on the back of the body, as well as on top and some wear to the headstock - Some lacquer has come away exposing the wood as well. So, for the collectors interested in the pristine examples, this one mightn't be for you. However, that said, we believe that it is all original - Including its hard case.
For the players, and those wanted a guitar with some real history to it, this one could be for you. The guitar is fully functional, and plays very nicely, with a low and straight action. We have dated the pots to being from the Stackpole batch of pots from 1966, and the pickups are believed to be the originals. There is some fretwear and some signs of wear in the fingerboard would, but it this is otherwise a very nice player for a 50 year old instrument.
The case that is included is the original Fender case as well.
