MUSTANG BODY

The Squier Bullet Mustang has a unique body profile, with an offset-style appearance and shallow double cutaway. Squier have employed basswood to construct the body, packing a punchy tone which is ideal for the likes of indie music, known for its rowdy, jangly melodies. The basswood body has a lightweight feel making it even easier to wield onstage, plus it reduces fatigue to allow you to play for longer.

NECK

Squier have firmly joined a smooth maple neck to the body with a 24.75 inch scale length. The neck is shaped to the comfortable "C" profile allowing for effortless movement. Topping the neck is an Indian Laurel fingerboard which hosts 22 medium jumbo frets. The frets are easy to navigate thanks to white dot inlays that decorate them. The maple / rosewood partnership in the neck contributes a wide range of luscious, bright tones.

HUMBUCKER PICKUPS

The raucous sound of the Bullet Mustang is powered by a pair of potent humbucker pickups. Standard Humbuckers sit in the neck and bridge positions and offer you a versatile range of tones to suit various playing styles. Controls include a Master Volume and Master Tone for an easy-to-use setup, while a 3-way pickup switch blade allows you to tweak your sound by alternating or combining the pickups.

HARDWARE

Squier have employed dependable, durable hardware in the Bullet Mustang such as a bolt-on 6-saddle modern hardtail bridge and standard cast/sealed tuning machines. These work brilliantly together, improving sustain and intonation while upholding tuning integrity with precision.
