The Sparkle Drive Mod pedal features 4 modes that all offer something different. For the first classic tube mode, you get a more vintage and classic style tone, which is ideal for blues and solos. The next mode is Mod 1, which is the lead circuit of this pedal that enhances the low end whilst smoothing out the higher frequencies. This works well with single note style melodies. Mod 2 is more for the mid- range and sounds great when playing rhythm guitar. Its punchy attributes complement power chords and funky styles of play. Mod 3 works with the extreme ends of the frequencies by expressing the high end and adding aggression to the bottom end.
The original Sparkle Drive pedal is a unique overdrive pedal that offers a clean control so you can tweak your overdrive and blend your direct signal back into the chain. This ensures that you don't lose any attack or punch in your tone that can often be lost when using a compressed circuit.
This pedal is easy to set up and all you need to do is to plug into the input jack and you are ready to go. The Sparkle Drive has the same concept as layering 2 amps, 1 clean and the other saturated. If a vintage overdrive tone is what you are after, then this can be achieved by turning the clean knob all the way down and by turning the clean knob up, you get a transparent 100 percent clean boost.
