• Magnetic Record Head Saturation. Turning up the Record Level knob to increase the gain of Volante's analog class-A JFET input preamp circuit, sends a hot signal with analog warmth to the record head for any amount of saturation you desire.

Volante gives you a SPACING control that is adjustable between Even, Triplet, Golden Ratio (for dense, non-overlapping echoes) and Silver Ratio (for non-overlapping repeats biased toward the quarter note). The spacing between the heads is continuously variable for the entire travel of the SPACING knob, morphing between the available settings.
• Independent Stereo Panning for Each Head for spacious multi-head stereo delays.
• Three Echo Machine Speeds. Run any of Volante's three magnetic echo machines at half, normal, or double speed. Fidelity is higher at higher speeds, while lower speeds result in warmer repeats and more pronounced anomaly effects
• Instant Infinity! Unleash classic psychedelic delay feedback sounds on command. While performing in Echo mode, press and hold the ON footswitch to activate Infinite Repeats, and Volante will crank up echo regenerations for fast-building delay feedback.
• Sound on Sound with Magnetic Personality. Create dynamic loops that degrade and evolve. Change loop direction at the touch of a footswitch. Press PAUSE for a mechanical tape stop effect (user-definable speed).
• Mirror Universe. In Sound on Sound mode, press the ON footswitch, and the entire loop length will play in reverse. You can continue recording new audio to layer with the reversed audio.

The Volante's brand-new chassis style allows a large number of dedicated knobs and switches to deliver the full range of creative delays. A full set of stereo inputs and outputs (selectable line or instrument level), MIDI I/O, USB in and an EXP expression pedal input allow for connection to almost anything. And there are five colours of LEDs!

Featuring all three vintage delay types - magnetic drum echo*, tape echo, and reel-to-reel studio echo - Volante is a stereo multi-head delay that also offers a looper and vintage spring reverb.

Volante instantly captures the Vintage Vibe, from the sought- after natural saturation and soft clipping of magnetic media when driven hard, to hands-on real-time controls for mechanics, wear, head-spacing, and low cut. At the centre of Volante's control surface are four delay playback heads with individual feedback, panning, and level controls, allowing the creation of complex rhythmic patterns as well as reverb-like atmospheric textures.

Volante also gives you superbly crafted multi-head tape echoes, including the smooth tape saturation and characteristic imperfections inherent to the sound of those vintage machines. It even allows you to recreate the irregular head spacing of some of the classic tape echo machines. Lastly, Volante recreates the full-bodied warmth and fidelity of the professional 50s and 60s reel-to-reel machines; high- fidelity units built to accurately reproduce full-range audio signals.
