About the Strymon Flint
When Strymon create a pedal they are not content to just create a pedal that makes the desired effect, they analyse in great detail the characteristics of classic effects and generate the effect algorithm from very articulate white paper studies. The Flint is a great example of how the boffins at Strymon have, quite brilliantly, captured the soul of a ‘61 Harmonic Tremolo, a ‘63 Tube Tremolo and a ‘65 Photocell Tremolo classic circuit designs found in a handful of amps at the time, these are now a footswitch away, plus the Flint also gives you three reverb types too, the classic ‘60’s Spring Tank Reverb, the inventive ‘70’s plate reverb and the very familiar ‘80’s Hall Reverb. The Strymon Flint is already on it’s way to become a classic.
