Put in place with a glued dovetail joint the 25.5” scale mahogany neck offers incredible strength, tone and sustain. Satin finished and carved to a ‘60s SlimTaper D profile the Epiphone J45EC Guitar’s neck is smooth, fast and simply a joy to play. Topping this is a 12” radius, 20 medium jumbo fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and 1.68” nut measurement.

The Shadow Performer Tuner offers all the controls you could need to sculpt your sound to suit. Along with the volume control the preamp features bass & treble controls, a chromatic tuner, and a feedback-reducing Phase switch. The tuner/mute button is also useful when plugging in and unplugging your guitar. Using just two 2032 lithium (watch-type) batteries rather than the old 9-volt, the Epiphone J45EC acoustic guitar remains light and the battery actually has a lengthened life span.
